Serious buyers and trade visitors from close to 100 countries converge at DEAL 2022

The 28th edition of the DEAL 2022 show saw a massive turn out of serious buyers and quality visitors from close to 100 countries, coming from GCC, Middle East, Australia, Europe, North and South America, North and South Africa among other geographies. The show is home to global FEC, theme parks, and amusement industry brands from 35 plus countries. DEAL 2022 has attracted serious investors from countries across the globe looking for opportunities within the amusement and entertainment industry. The largest show in its category in the Middle East and Africa region, DEAL was officially inaugurated by H. E. Buti Saeed Al Ghandi, Second Vice-Chairman of the Board, Dubai World Trade Centre Authority.
This industry leading show once again catapulted the local, regional, and global FEC and theme park industry players within the MEA region on to the growth trajectory after the pandemic.

Amusement Services International (ASI) took the fun to a whole new level at DEAL 2022. This year their theme was aptly titled as “LEVEL 22 UNLOCKED”, that catered to a new experience economy. Their carefully curated variety of new concepts and products enabled their clients to successfully meet the player’s experiential demands. From the best in attractions and VR to cutting edge Video, Novelty, Redemption, Kiddy and Carnival games, they had a plethora of brilliant products for their operators to choose from, catering to every category of operation and for new age competitive socializing and gastro gaming concepts as well.

ICE one of the oldest exhihibitors has been participating at the show for 28 long years, that is basically from the very first edition of the DEAL show and were present at DEAL 2022 with their latest entertainment concepts. From concept to production, the R&D team is involved in every step of the process. ICE has been a manufacturer of the best amusement and arcade games since 1982. They are an innovator of coin operated amusement games, consistently manufacturing the highest quality redemption games, and have become an industry leading producer of sports games for the home, arcade and office.
UDC, a long time DEAL show exhibitor is a premier distributor of brand-new redemption games, cranes, pushers, kiddie rides, vending machines, prize, and novelty games, change machines, redemption tickets. They were present at DEAL 2022 to further strengthen their presence in the region. A partnership agreement between Al Hokair Group for Tourism and Development and the entertainment brand Brass Monkey was signed during DEAL 2022. The partnership will see Al Hokair Group develop a range of destinations across several regions where customers can enjoy Brass Monkey’s unique approach to entertainment and fun. Established in the United Arab Emirates, Brass Monkey has been combining good times with delicious dining featuring American and Asian dishes since 2020.
The cashless technology company Intercard unveiled two innovative software platforms at the prestigious DEAL show. DEAL served as the ideal setting for Intercard to display both its iTellerPlus software and E-commerce platform. The iTellerPlus software gives an idea of the future of self-service kiosks in entertainment centres. Using iTellerPlus, guests can buy timed play, gate passes and package deals in addition to game play, which is stored on the same game card.
WhiteWater unveiled Endless Surf, the next generation of powerful, efficient, and customizable waves to the world of in-land surfing during DEAL 2022. WhiteWater’s new mixed-use development model showcases how the pneumatic technology can create different wave patterns to enable venues to create the most efficient waves on the market. WhiteWater’s first surf pool was built in 1989 and is still in operation today. The company has taken that heritage and, with expert wave designers, enhanced the technology to create endless rolling sets, designed for operational ease, flexibility, high capacity, and above all else, safety. Endless Surf provides iconic inland surfing that aims to draw guests of all ages to surf parks.
The entire Sacoa team with its agent in Iraq Ali Anwer, Hayder Salman Dawood, and the CEO of Baghdad Island were present during the DEAL show. Furthermore, several exhibitors from the United States participated at the DEAL show. There were many new exhibitors as well that showcased some really innovative concepts that caught the attention of the global trade visitors present at the show. Some of the new exhibitors from US included Breeze Creative, Aquatic Development Group (ADG), Great Coasters, Daldorado, Freestyle Slides and Mobooths among others. Group of Chinese FEC and themeparks focussed companies were present at the DEAL show despite the current travel challenges that were prevailing. The Chinese exhibitors showcased some real unique concepts. Furthermore, the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), a governmental agency that oversees and coordinates the promotion of the Korean content industry, brought industry leaders, ARGO creative, J WONDER, LIVE K, MANGROVE Inc., Motion Technologies, Victoria Productions and VUiDEA to the DEAL 2022 show.
MENALAC’s Leisure, Entertainment & Attractions Conference returned in its fifth edition in 2022. The annual event is of great industry significance, gathering prominent thought leaders and stalwarts from across the industry under one roof. In addition, MENALAC brought a strong Health & Safety capsule focussing on Innovations and Digitizing of Health & Safety and provide crucial health and safety talks through the 5th edition of its Leisure, Entertainment & Attractions Conference – Safety Day. Both the LEA Conference and Safety Day forums were conducted alongside DEAL 2022 show.
